IR thermometer optris CTlaser 3M for measurement of metals with low temperatures
The infrared thermometer optris CTlaser 3M is perfectly suited for measurements of low metal temperatures and composite materials. It offers a temperature range between 50 °C and 1,800 °C (122 °F and 3272 °F) and can be employed in up to 85 °C (185 °F) without additional cooling.
Due to its extremely short response time of 1 ms, the highly efficient IR thermometer allows the surveillance of fast processes and measures reliably and precisely even on smallest measuring fields of up to 0.7 mm (0.03 in). Selectable outputs and various digital interfaces offer a high variability for the evaluation of the measured data.

Areas of application for the infrared thermometer optris CTlaser 3M
The IR thermometer optris CTlaser 3M, like its related pyrometers CTlaser 1M and 2M, has been designed for measurement of metallic surfaces. Temperature controls during welding, soldering, and forging-die forming processes do not pose a problem.
The spectral range of 2.3 µm allows for precise measurement of composite material surfaces made of e.g. carbides, polymeric plastics, or ceramics.
Infrared software optris Compact Connect included
The temperature analysis software optris Compact Connect has been developed specifically for the extensive documentation and analysis of temperature measurement data of our stationary infrared thermometers. It is license-free and included in every pyrometer shipment.
