High-speed pyrometer optris CT 4M for low-temp, high-speed measurements

Due to its short measuring wavelength and a temperature range from 0°C to 500 °C (32 °F to 932 °F), the pyrometer optris CT 4M, is ideally suited for measurement of metals, metal oxides, ceramics or materials with unknown or changing emissivity. The quick response time of only 300 μs allows for a problem-free use of the metal thermometer in fast processes.

The electronics box of the measuring device allows a flexible terminal device through selectable analog outputs as well as various optional digital interfaces.

Areas of application for the optris CT 4M

The ultra-fast optris CT 4M features a response time of only 300 µs and is thus ideally suited for fast high-volume production and packaging processes (eg. PET preform temperature monitoring) and high-speed traffic safety applications like hot axle box detection on railways. Its wavelength of 2.2 µm to 6.0 µm allow for low-temperature measurements of metas, metal oxides, ceramics and materials with unknown or changing emissvity.
