Successful Start of Optris Infrared Tour 2011

Berlin, 4 March 2011. The Optris Infrared Tour 2011 of the Optris GmbH takes place for the first time in 2011 and will stop in eight large towns in Germany and Switzerland.  

“With the Optris Infrared Tour 2011 we want to offer interesting insights into the exiting world of temperature measurement with infrared to our existing customers as well as interested parties and prospective customers”, informs marketing manager Steffen Moeck. “Over the past years we have had great experiences with individual workshops and have decided to plan a complete tour for this year.”

The Optris Infrared Tour 2011 can look back to a successful start with a very well attended workshop in Nürnberg on the 3rd of March. The next stations of the tour will be Hamburg, Oberhausen, Frankfurt/Main, Karlsruhe, Berlin and Freiberg as well as Oberuzwil in Switzerland.

The topics of the workshops consist of theoretical basics, such as an introduction of physical laws or the definition of emissivity. Practical applications of the measurement devices and examples of the use of the devices in branch-specific applications are also given. 

Regional partner will be supporting the Optris GmbH during the tour. The workshop in Karlsruhe will be supported by the Faunhofer Institut and in Freiberg we are working together with the Ractech-Team of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. 
Regional Distributors of Optris are supporting the workshops in Oberhausen (ATEG Automation GmbH) and Oberuzwil in Switzerland (ROT+CO. AG).
