Temperature Coefficient
The temperature coefficient describes the rise in the measurement error when taking pyrometric temperature measurements if the ambient temperature deviates from the reference temperature of 23 ± 5 °C.
Deeper consideration must be given to the effects on the electronic measuring equipment when calculating the temperature of the measurement object with a rising or falling ambient temperature. Calibrating settings at several different ambient temperatures will keep the measurement error to a minimum.
