The New Infrared Thermometer Optris CS with Thermocouple Output

Conventional thermocouples may encounter high abrasion resulting from contacting measurement points and harsh surroundings. The new infrared sensor optris CS extends the lifetime of measuring fields considerably due to its non-contact measuring concept. Its standardized thermocouple connection allows the use of already existing measuring lines.

Reliable IR Temperature Measurement in Extreme Conditions

The ratio pyrometer optris CTratio 1M is designed for non-contact measurement of temperatures in the range between 700°C and 1800°C. Its functional principle guarantees precise measurements even when the field of view is severely occluded, for example by fumes. This makes it highly useful for applications in harsh environments as they prevail in the metal and glass industries.
