Infrared Camera for the Metal Industry up to 2000 °C
The new infrared camera optris PI 05M features a continuous measurement range from 900 to 2000 °C. It has an optical resolution of 764 x 480 pixels and measures at a wavelength of 500 to 540 nm.
LWIR Infrared Cameras Can Measure up to 1500 °C
The optris PI 450 and optris PI 640 infrared cameras can now also be calibrated for a temperature measurement range of up to 1500 °C. This allows the two high-resolution cameras to be integrated into applications which far exceed the previous threshold of 900 °C.
VGA Infrared Camera for the Glass Industry
Again, Optris GmbH introduces a new infrared camera for the glass industry at the glasstec 2016. With its 7.9 µm filter, the thermal imager optris PI 640 G7 is perfectly suited for the measurement of glass and, due to the VGA resolution, offers an even wider range of possible fields of application.
VGA Thermal Imaging Camera with New Tele Optics
An additional interchangeable lens now complements the optris® PI 640 thermal imaging camera. Four lenses are now available to meet the customer’s different measurement tasks and requirements. In addition to the 33°, 60° and 90° optics, measurements can now be performed using a 15° telephoto lens.
The Only Fully Radiometric Flight Thermography on the Market
Infrared images and videos from the air – recorded by drones, UAVs and other flying objects – are becoming increasingly important in industrial maintenance. In some cases, the cost savings compared to existing applications are enormous. The relaunched optris PI LightWeight, a kit consisting of a weight-reduced infrared camera and an equally light mini PC now ensures even better flight thermography.

The optris® PI 640 thermal imaging camera launched onto the market in 2014 is now available with two additional changeable lenses.
IR Camera for Temperatures up to 1.800 °C
The optris® PI 1M thermal imaging camera is the latest innovation in the Optris camera range. In addition to the well-known advantages of Optris infrared cameras, such as their compact size, USB interface and license-free software, the new PI 1M is the only model on the market that features a continuous temperature measurement range of 450 °C to 1,800 °C, a frame rate of up to
1 kHz and a choice of optical resolution/frame rate modes.
Compact Infrared Camera for the Glass Industry
The material glass requires special equipment for non-contact temperature measurement due to its physical properties. In addition to the special infrared thermometers, Optris GmbH introduced the thermal imaging camera optris® PI 450 G7 to the market at Glasstec 2014.
