PI 08M

Infrared camera for laser applications up to 1900 °C

The spectral range of 800 nm of the newly developed thermal imager optris PI 08M decreases measurement errors resulting from unknown or changing emissivities. Due to the spectral range as well as the continous measurement range from 575 °C to 1900 °C (1067 °F to 3452 °F), the compact infrared camera is ideal suited for for almost all NIR and CO2 laser processing applications.

The frame rate of 1 kHz as well as the high optical resolution enable an optimal adaption to the respective application.

Areas of application for the thermal imager optris PI 08M

The short-wavelength infrared camera optris PI 08M is ideally suited for laser processing applications as radiation above 800 nm is blocked excellently. The spectral range of 800 nm is less likely to be influenced by surrounding influences and thus ensures a precise measurement even when facing changing emissivity.

Thermography software optris PIX Connect included

All IR cameras are delivered with the thermography software optris PIX Connect, which has been developed specifically for the extensive documentation and analysis of thermal images. It allows you to analyse temperature data in real time as well as the remote control of your infrared camera. Furthermore, you can setup individual alarm levels for your process and define visual or acustic alarm signals.

Our thermography software is licence free and can easily be adjusted to your requirements.
