CSvision R2M

Ratio pyrometer CSvision R2M for non-contact temperature measurement from 250 °C to 1400 °C (482 °F to 2552 °F)

With the new ratio pyrometer, the CSvision R2M, it is possible to provide precise non-contact temperature measurements from 250 °C to 1400 °C (482 °F to 2552 °F) at variable distances. The novelty of the CSvision series is the switchable two-step brightness reduction filter, which makes it easy to aim and focus on very bright objects.

The CSvision R2M has a temperature measuring range of 250 °C to 1400 °C [482 °F to 2552 °F], is also equipped with a motorized focus and has an optical resolution of 75:1 and a spectral range of 1.35 µm to 1.75 µm.

The ratio pyrometer can be used in adverse environments from 0 °C [32 °F] up to 60 °C [140 °F] without additional cooling. Due to the dual-channel measuring principle, the CSvision is largely insensitive to dust, steam and dirty viewing windows.

The special feature of the optris CSvision R2M allowing it to deliver reliable measuring data even through heavy soiling and acquiring data even with low visibility of the measuring objects – makes it an ideal device for temperature control of the hard-to-access processing of metals.

The temperature analysis software CompactPlus Connect has been specifically developed for the extensive documentation and analysis of temperature data of our stationary infrared thermometers. It is license-free, included in every Ratio pyrometer shipment and can be downloaded here.
